Teaching

Lars has been teaching private lessons since his senior year in high school.
While studying at Berklee College of Music he has been teaching private lessons in saxophone at the Boston Arts Academy and to high school students at Berklee within the "System 5" outreach program for children from socially disadvantaged families in the Boston area.
In New York Lars has been teaching saxophone at the UN International School UNIS, substitute teaching saxophone at the New York Pops Salute to Music program and piano at the George Jackson Academy in the East Village as well as saxophone, flute and piano in the "Castellano's House of Music" program on Staten Island. Lars is teaching private lessons to students of all levels.

The materials and topics covered include according to the students level of proficiency:

- technique and musicianship on the instrument
- ear training, solfege, harmonic and intervallistic ear training
- harmonic understanding
- improvisation techniques

The price per lesson is $ 70,- for a 45 minutes lesson and $ 80 for a 60 minutes lesson.
